About Me

I have a longstanding interest in understanding how the body works and studied a degree in biochemistry before working in science and health communication, mainly in the charity sector. I began my yoga practice over 10 years ago and I’ve found that yoga has benefitted both my physical and mental health, I feel stronger and more aware of my body; I enjoy the time and the space that practising gives me. Yoga has also led to me developing a regular meditation practice.

Because of my background in science and working in a health charity, I was drawn to further understanding the increasing evidence of the benefits of yoga in different groups. I believe yoga is for everybody and I’m really interested in how yoga can benefit people in managing stress and anxiety but also long term conditions and recovery from illness.

After 20 years living and working in London, in 2021 I relocated to North Wales to find a better balance in my life.

My goal is to help people develop strength, increase their wellbeing and manage stress better through gentle hatha and dynamic flow classes, alongside breathing and relaxation techniques.
