Classes
I teach in person in Old Colwyn, or online across the UK. Here are the details of current group classes and information on private tuition.
What to expect in classes
I teach gentle hatha, dynamic flow and chair yoga classes alongside breathing and relaxation techniques. We’ll begin with a gentle warm up and some breathing exercises before moving on to asana (postures) practice, where we’ll focus on learning the main yoga poses. You’ll be given help and suggestions on how to modify a pose for your body and information on the benefits of each. After a cool down, stretching out through the body to relax, we’ll end with breathing, meditation and relaxation.
What you will need
You’ll need to be wearing comfortable clothing that you can move in. You will also need a yoga mat and may find it handy to have a blanket.
Online classes
You’ll need a laptop or a tablet with a webcam. If you can, the webcam should be about six feet away from you so you can be seen on the mat.
