Cancellation Policy

 

Life happens and sometimes as much as you want to, you can’t attend classes. Let me know as soon as you can if you need to cancel a class.

Private classes

Any cancellations less than 24 hours before the class will be charged at full price. I may be able to rearrange the class to another time in the week, if so payment will be carried forward to the rearranged date.

Any cancellations 24-48 hours before the class may still be charged at 50% of the full price.

Group classes - multiple class pass

Any cancellations less than 24 hours before the class may still take a class credit unless your place in the class is filled. In all other circumstances credit can be carried forward: With a 6 class pass, one class credit can be carried forward, With a 10 class pass, 2 credits can be carried forward. Carry forwards may be applied as a discount to your next booking.

Group classes - one off payments

One off payments for group classes are usually non-refundable.

Online classes

In order to give people attending online classes the best experience, I limit class numbers. Therefore online classes are subject to the same cancellation fees as private and group classes.


If you need to cancel due to an emergency, I can be more flexible where possible.

Privacy Policy

 

Eluned Hughes Yoga treats your privacy rights seriously. This privacy policy sets out how we will deal with your ‘personal information’, that is, information that could identify, or is related to the identity of, an individual. 


What personal information do we collect? 

When you express an interest in joining classes you will be asked to provide certain information. This includes: 

• your name 

• home address 

• email address 

• telephone number 

• emergency contact telephone number 


How do we collect this personal information?

All the information collected is obtained directly from you. This is usually at the point of your initial registration. The information will be collected via online contact forms, class sign up forms or health information forms. The lawful basis for collecting and storing your information is due to the legitimate interest in order to inform you about class details and vital interest in case of emergency. 

How do we use your personal information? 

We use your personal information: 

• To provide yoga classes to you

• For administration, planning and management of Eluned Hughes Yoga 

• To communicate with you about classes 

• To monitor, develop and improve the provision of classes

We’ll send you messages by email, text and telephone. 

Who do we share your personal information with? 

We may disclose information about you, including your personal information only if we have a statutory duty to disclose it for other legal and regulatory reasons. Where we need to share your information outside of Eluned Hughes Yoga we will seek your consent and inform you as to who the information will be shared with and for what purpose. 


How long do we keep your personal information?

We need to keep your information so that we can provide our services to you. In most instances information about your health and your emergency contact details will not be stored for longer than 12 months after your most recent class with us. Your contact details will not be stored for longer than 24 months after your last class with us. 

To ensure the information we hold is accurate and up to date, you need to inform Eluned Hughes Yoga as to any changes to your personal information. You can do this by filling in this form.

How do we store your personal information?

We have in place a range of security safeguards to protect your personal information against loss or theft, as well as unauthorised access, disclosure, copying, use or modification. Security measures include password protection of the spreadsheet containing students personal data. Health forms are kept in password protected folders and any paper copies of forms are destroyed immediately after being scanned and saved.

Changes to this policy 

This policy may change from time to time. If we make any material changes we will make students aware of this by email.
