What you’ll need for online classes
For online classes you’ll need a laptop or a tablet with a webcam. Ideally you’ll want to place this about six feet away from you so as much of you can be seen as possible.
You will need your own equipment, including a mat, and sometimes other props like a yoga belt, blocks or bricks and a blanket. If you have any questions about equipment contact me and I can suggest some options. They don’t have to be expensive, there are some good, reasonably priced yoga mats out there and there are ways of using makeshift props! Read my blog on getting started with props.
All the classes are secure, you’ll be given a login link when you pay.
For the best experience, please keep your microphone on mute but your video on so everyone can hear me. I’ll check in regularly and ask for a thumbs up so if you need to unmute to speak you can. You can also ‘pin’ me on the screen or use speaker view, to see me more clearly.
If you’ve not been to an online yoga class before it can seem a bit daunting to be on screen and to be able to see yourself. Try to relax and don’t worry about how you look to others - it’s your practice.
