What is Yoga for All?

Exactly what it sounds like - yoga for everyone, regardless of experience, body shape or mobility. Wherever you’re at, you can find some benefit from yoga. We’ll use chairs and props to help you work at the level that’s right for you - standing, sitting, lying, we can find a way to fit a yoga pose to your body - not your body to the pose. Yoga for All gives you all the benefits that yoga does - increased strength, flexibility, concentration and focus, better sleep, decreased stress and anxiety.

What does a class involve?

We’ll begin with a warm up to settle into the space and begin to loosen up and prepare the body. The main part of the class will involve a number of yoga poses to work on developing both strength and flexibility in different areas of the body. There will be different options for you to choose which is right for you. We’ll end with a cool down and relaxation to stretch out and calm the body and mind.

Do I need to bring anything?

Not unless you want to! Chairs and props will be provided, but you can bring your own if you want. You might want to bring a blanket and a cushion for the relaxation. You’ll need to wear comfortable clothes you can move in and you might want to have warm socks so your feet don’t get cold!

What time does the class start?

Doors will open at 6pm and we’ll start at 6.05.
